SOMATIC, MINDFULNESS-BASED, INTEGRATIVE CARE

Somatic-Informed Mental Health Therapy for Adults in Oregon

You’re a driven adult feeling anxious, burned out, or overwhelmed, worn down by health and hormonal shifts, and having a harder time with focus and clarity.

Work with Dr. Chinwe Madu, PharmD, CSWA, for online therapy that supports you in feeling more grounded, clear, and resilient.

Virtual care across Oregon through Wellbeing Integrated in partnership with Mindful Therapy Group, P.C.

Welcome!

You may be feeling overwhelmed by stress, weighed down by worry, or caught in patterns that no longer feel sustainable.

Maybe you’re moving through a major life transition, navigating chronic health concerns or hormone-related changes, managing burnout, or trying to hold everything together while feeling exhausted inside.

On the outside, you may look capable and put-together. On the inside, it might feel like you’re running on empty, managing a nervous system that never really settles, and noticing more and more strain on your ability to plan, organize, and follow through.

Stress may also be showing up in your body, energy, sleep, focus, relationships, or in how connected you feel to yourself and your sense of identity.

Therapy with me is a space to set down what you’ve been carrying, make sense of what has felt heavy, confusing, or stuck, and begin reconnecting with yourself.

I’m Dr. Chinwe Madu, PharmD, CSWA, a Clinical Social Work Associate offering personalized online mental health therapy for adults ages 25 to 64 throughout Oregon.

Through Wellbeing Integrated, in partnership with Mindful Therapy Group, P.C., I provide whole-person, mind–body-focused, somatic-informed care for stress, anxiety, burnout, life transitions, nervous system overwhelm, chronic health concerns, and hormone-related changes.

Mindful Therapy Group, P.C., provides billing, scheduling, insurance, and administrative support.

I practice under licensed clinical supervision, as required by the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers.

Who I Work With

I work with adults ages 25 to 64 throughout Oregon who are navigating stress, anxiety, burnout, nervous system overwhelm and dysregulation, challenges with focus, planning, and follow-through (executive functioning), chronic health concerns, hormonal shifts, or major life transitions and role changes.

Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable, and deeply caring people who are used to functioning at a high level, often showing up for others, holding a lot, and doing their best to keep moving forward.

Therapy can be a space to make more room for your own wellbeing, reconnect with yourself, and begin tending to what you have been carrying.

How I Help

I offer online mental health therapy in a warm, supportive space where your whole self is welcome, including your thoughts, emotions, body, nervous system, and lived experiences.

Our work is collaborative and paced with care. We can gently explore what feels heavy or overwhelming, while also making room for grounding, clarity, resilience, and meaningful change.

Services

Individual online Therapy

I offer compassionate online mental health therapy for adults across Oregon.

Our work centers on what feels most important in your life right now, whether that's easing anxiety and burnout, supporting your nervous system, navigating chronic or hormone-related health concerns, addressing challenges with focus and executive functioning, or creating steadier, more sustainable ways to move through daily life.

Core Areas of Support

Below are some of the concerns I frequently work with:

  • Stress, overwhelm, and burnout

  • Anxiety, chronic worry, overthinking, and nervous system overwhelm

  • Mood changes, depression, low motivation, or feeling "stuck"

  • Major life transitions, including career, relationships, caregiving, relocation, role changes, and identity shifts

  • Chronic illness, chronic pain, and the emotional impact of ongoing health concerns

  • Hormonal shifts and related changes in mood, energy, sleep, or sense of self

  • Challenges with focus, planning, organization, follow-through, and mental clarity (executive functioning)

  • Self-esteem, self-worth, body image, and reconnecting with yourself

  • Sleep difficulties, insomnia, and stress-related sleep disruption

My Approach

I offer holistic, evidence-based therapy that honors the connection between mind, body, nervous system, relationships, and lived experience.

From a somatic-informed and polyvagal-informed lens, we may pay attention not only to your thoughts and emotions, but also to how stress, safety, shutdown, activation, and connection show up in your body and daily life.

In our work together, you can expect a warm, collaborative space where we:

Explore your thoughts and emotions

Using approaches like mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), we can gently explore unhelpful patterns, build practical coping skills, and create more room for choice.

Support nervous system steadiness

Through polyvagal-informed and somatic-informed practices, we can notice patterns of stress, overwhelm, shutdown, or disconnection and explore what helps you feel more grounded, settled, and connected.

Integrate mind–body practices

Mindfulness, breath awareness, body awareness, visualization, and grounding practices may be used to help you slow down, regulate, and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels supportive and manageable.

Build on your strengths

Strengths-based, solution-focused, motivational interviewing, and positive psychology approaches can help us identify what is already working, clarify what matters to you, and support meaningful, realistic change.

I'm also certified in the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), a gentle, non-invasive, sound-based program that can support nervous system regulation and complement our therapy work when it’s a good clinical fit.

If you’re curious about SSP, you’re welcome to contact me so we can explore whether it could be a supportive addition to your care. You can also visit WhatistheSSP.com to learn more.

My hope is that our work helps you feel more resourced, more compassionate toward yourself, and more able to move through daily life with clarity, steadiness, and connection.
